Description
A Mercedes-Benz clutch cable is a mechanical cable that connects the clutch pedal to the clutch fork in a car with a manual transmission. When the driver presses the clutch pedal, the cable pulls on the clutch fork, which disengages the clutch, allowing the driver to shift gears.
Most modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles use a hydraulic clutch system instead of a cable-operated clutch. However, cable-operated clutches are still used in some older Mercedes-Benz models.
